So, I've been procrastinating on pictures of our new house. We bought a big fat renovation dream/nightmare in January. John is work, work, working on it all the time and we are oh so close to moving in...We have tons of pictures that i intended to label with helpful things like room names, before, progress, after but oh well. I will never get to it. So here's a bunch of pics. the pretty ones are the "afters" (or close to complete.) Have fun.
I'll try for some legit comparison shots later. Once we move, and my whole family lives in one house, with all our things. What a day that will be.

Jacob's Grandpa

My Dad passed away on July 14, 2009. He was the World's Greatest Dad. It's indisputable. I know we all miss him very much. He taught me how to care about people, how to get things done, and mostly, how to be a great partner, person and parent. The daunting task at hand is to teach Jacob all of these things and make his Grandpa proud. Rick Stooksbury didn't get to be a Grandpa for long, but I have no doubt he was the World's Greatest.

Aunt Jessie's visit

Aunt Jessie (and her baby belly) came to see Jake (and his big ole belly) on Sunday. He was very excited to hang out with her and future cousin Swan.
The weather was beautiful. He loved the swings, the slides, and crawling in the grass.
