Jacob Houston is crawling

Things are going well these days. Jacob is crawling and can also stand up in his crib. Most mornings he's either sitting up or standing looking out at his toys. He's so happy and hilarious.

He's continuing to try new foods. Apparently, he was given Cheetos at his Valentine Party and really enjoyed them. His little fingers were stained orange. I'm sure he will continue to like all the unhealthiest options.

We have given this kid three haircuts now. It's a hot mess but we love it.

And we love him. And we love our life as a family. Our hot mess family.

Perhaps I should discourage this behavior

He just loves paper towels. Who wants to tell that sweet face "No."? Not this mommy!

Our little JakeyBaby wants to eat big people food. He's tried peas, carrots, broccoli, mashed potatoes, cranberries, chicken and dumplings, and some others... Most are well received, others not so much. The broccoli was especially funny.
He is just starting with the sippy cup also. He's having fun trying.
